Immigration support funding cut

Most of the $53 million in federal government cuts will be felt in Ontario, where fewer newcomers to Canada settled last year. Nova Scotia will also receive less because the province attracts so few immigrants. The cuts mean $85 thousand less to support new immigrants in Halifax.
