Immigration firm owners booked for fraud

CHANDIGARH: Three people, including a husband-wife couple, running an immigration firm have been booked for duping a Punjab resident of Rs 500,000 on the pretext of sending him abroad, police said Saturday.

The couple, Dayal Inder Singh and his wife Gagandeep Kaur, had promised Rashpal Singh, resident of Bassi Pathana town in Fatehgarh Sahib district, to send him to Canada and had taken Rs 500,000 from him last month.
