MONTREAL — A former Guantanamo Bay detainee who was barred from an Air Canada flight because of U.S. security concerns is going to try to come here again.

Moazzam Begg, who now works as a human-rights activist, will attempt to fly from London to Canada via a route that will avoid U.S. territory, says his lawyer Dennis Edney.
