As the Danes prepare to hoist a symbolic flag over the North Pole next month, we have to ask, have they not seen the distinctive attire worn by its most famous resident?

Santa Claus proudly wears red and is Canadian, Immigration Minister Jason Kenney famously declared during a citizenship ceremony in Calgary in December.
