By Keith Fraser, The Province July 7, 2011 "The system failed" in the case of a man whose criminal case took seven years to get to court, B.C.'s highest court says in a ruling released Wednesday. The delays were unreasonable and violated the rights of Samir Akram Fawaz, a three- member panel of the B.C. Court of Appeal found.
