Conservative candidate Jason Kenney announced that a re-elected Conservative government would introduce measures to protect would-be victims of marriage fraud and strengthen the integrity of the immigration process by cracking down on marriages of convenience, which victimize vulnerable and unwitting immigrants and perpetrate a fraud on Canada’s generous immigration system.
