By Kent Spencer, The Province December 9, 2011 A Honduran man wants to rejoin his Canadian family despite a history of trouble with authorities here. Juan Carlos Sevilla of Honduras walked illegally across the border at Blaine in 1993 as a young man and soon fell afoul of police as well as immigration officials. According to Immigration Canada records, Sevilla was charged with trafficking in cocaine and assault with a weapon in 1996, but was given a stay of proceedings. Read the whole article... |
