Citizenship is a privilege, not right

Every once in a while, you hear of a new rule or law and think to yourself, you mean that isn’t happening already? I call those “say what?” moments.

That’s the thought I had when federal Immigration Minister Jason Kenney announced Monday morning in Montreal that new Canadians will now have to show their faces when swearing the oath of citizenship.
